The national selectors have announced the Indian T20I and ODI squads for the upcoming home series against Windies. Surprisingly, they have dropped the wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson from the T20I squad, even without giving him any opportunity. The Indian cricket fans have got angry on this shocking decision and some of them have requested to everyone to boycott the upcoming Thiruvananthapuram T20I.

Due to performing impressively in the recent domestic tournaments, Sanju Samson earned the national team call-up during the recently concluded home T20I series against Bangladesh. Before that series, Samson played only one T20I in July 2015 against the hosts Zimbabwe where he scored 19 runs.

India won that three-match T20I series against Bangladesh by 2-1, but Sanju Samson remained unused even despite Rishabh Pant was struggling continuously. Now, suddenly Samson has been omitted from the T20I squad for the upcoming series despite he didn’t get a chance in the playing XI.
