Former Australia spinner Brad Hogg spent some quality time with his fans on social media platforms during the coronavirus epidemic, which has claimed more than lakhs of lives globally. The former Australian spin wizard has been quite active on the micro-blogging Twitter platform by throwing a regular question and answer session for his fans and followers.
Brad Hogg didn’t shy away from expressing his opinions on the game. Recently, he was asked to pick the best left-handed batsman between Australia’s ferocious opener David Warner and India’s attacking batsman Shikhar Dhawan. Brad Hogg didn’t take much time to answer this question.

Brad Hogg picks the best batsman between David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan
According to Brad Hogg, David Warner is comparatively a better batsman than Shikhar Dhawan. Hogg explained the reason in a very clear-cut way.
He wrote: “Warner. Dhawan loses momentum as the field restrictions become more lenient in the later stages of an innings.”
It is worth mentioning here that both David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan have been the lynchpins of their respective national teams, particularly in limited-overs. The two stalwarts were a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise before Dhawan signed for Delhi Capitals (DC) prior to the IPL 2019 edition.

David Warner had a sensational spree in the 2019 World Cup where he ended up as the second-highest run-scorer. He had a disastrous Ashes 2019 but returned to good form during the home series in late 2019 where he maintained a decent run in the limited-overs format.
On the other hand, Dhawan faced ups and downs in his career since he got injured during the World Cup tournament. Since then he missed plenty of series from thereon but returned to the game at the start of this year. Sadly, he missed the entire New Zealand tour owing to shoulder injury.
