In the IPL 2009, the young Deccan Chargers cricketer won the Emerging player of the year award, when he not only scored 362 runs, but he also picked up 11 wickets, including a hat-trick.
On the other hand, while Warner served for the Delhi Daredevils (DD) between 2009 and 2013, he is playing dominating cricket for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) since IPL 2014. The left-handed batsman has scored 4706 runs in 126 IPL matches (average 43.17; strike-rate 142.39), including four centuries and 44 half-centuries.
