Complete Fixtures Of India’s Tour Of Windies And The USA In 2019 Have Been Announced
While India and Windies both are busy in the ongoing 2019 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, the complete fixture of India’s tour of West Indies and the USA in 2019 has been come out.
After completing their ongoing Cricket World Cup campaign, India and Windies will begin their new cricket journey in this August through the full bilateral series. India’s international tour of the West Indies and the USA will begin on 3rd August 2019 and it will run till 3rd September 2019.
In this tour, India will play the three-match bilateral T20I series (3rd to 6th August 2019), the three-match bilateral ODI series (8th to 14th August 2019) and the two-match bilateral Test series (22nd August to 3rd September 2019) all against Windies.
In the T20I series, the first two matches will be played at the Central Broward Regional Park (Lauderhill, Florida). Earlier, in 2016, Windies and India played two back-to-back T20I matches at this venue. In their first meeting at this venue, on 27th August 2016, Windies (then West Indies) scored 245/6 (20 overs) in the first innings and India managed 244/4 (20 overs) at chasing as India lost that match by just one run.
On the very next day, India bundled out the Caribbean side for just 143 runs (19.4 overs) at the same venue. However, that match had no result as the rain washed out that match after India replied 15/0 (2 overs).
Meanwhile, the last T20I of the upcoming T20I series will be played at Providence Stadium (Guyana).
After this T20I series, Windies and India will play the three-match ODI series. While the Providence Stadium (Guyana) will organise the first ODI of this series, Queen’s Park Oval (Port of Spain) will organise the last two ODIs of this series.
The Test series will be the part of the inaugural ICC World Test Championship
India will finish this tour with the two-match Test series. This Test series will be the part of the inaugural ICC World Test Championship (2019-21). This Test series will be the first experience of ICC World Test Championship for both Windies and India.
Sir Vivian Richards Stadium (Antigua) and Sabina Park (Kingston) will organise the first and second Test of this series respectively.
