The legendary England opener Sir Alastair Cook led the England cricket team in 59 Tests from 2010 to 2016. At present, he is the most-capped Test captain in the England cricket history. Under his Test leadership, England won 24 matches, lost 22 games and drew 13 times. Cook’s success rate as a Test captain was 40.67%.

From November 2012 to December 2016, Cook led the England team in 57 consecutive Test matches. Till the date, only three Test skippers have managed to achieve better records than him in this list, but none of them is English captain.
