Sarah Taylor
Not only the male cricketers, but some female cricketers have also suffered from depression. Former English Women’s star wicket-keeper Sarah Taylor was one of those while she played 10 Women’s Tests, 126 Women’s ODIs and 90 Women’s T20Is from 2006 to 2019. During her international career, she won ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2014 and ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year 2012 & 2013.
In 2016, Sarah first time announced her suffering from anxiety, and she believed that it affected her cricket career. After taking a break from the game, she returned to the game in 2017. But in 2019, she finally decided to retire from the game due to anxiety.
