Javed Miandad (Pakistan) – 6 World Cups (1975-1996)

Legendary Pakistan cricketer Javed Miandad was the first cricketer to appear in the six different editions of the ICC Cricket World Cup history. He featured in 1975, 1979, 1983, 1987, 1992 and 1996 editions. Miandad played an important role for his team during their most successful journey in the 1992 edition as Pakistan won their first CWC trophy. The second most run-scorer of that tournament, Miandad also led his team in two matches during that tournament.
After playing 33 Cricket World Cup matches, Miandad scored 1083 runs with an average 43.32. During his CWC career, Miandad hit one century and eight half-centuries. His best CWC knock was 103 against Sri Lanka during the opening game of the 1987 edition (at Hyderabad, Sind on 8th October 1987).
