Former Australian cricketer Mike Hussey was one of the legendary cricketers. His younger brother David Hussey was a different character as he was an aggressive middle-order batsman. David Hussey impressed in the limited-overs international cricket, but he never made his Test debut.

After making his international debut in 2008, David Hussey played 69 ODIs and 39 T20Is till 2013, where the right-handed middle-order batsman scored 1796 runs (average 32.65) and 756 runs (average 22.90) respectively. Also, as an off-spinner, David picked up 18 ODI wickets and 19 T20I wickets. Due to his inconsistent batting forms, David faced many ups and downs in his international career.

On the other hand, despite having an incredible first-class batting average of 52.26 (14320 runs in 193 matches), David has never been selected for the Test cricket.
