4) Denis Compton
Denis Compton, who is considered one of the best batsmen to have ever played for England, was also a member of FA Cup-winning team in football. Compton’s cricket career lasted up to 20 years, between 1937 and 1957, wherein he played 78 matches and scored 5807 runs at an impressive average of 50.06. And, he simultaneously (1936-1950) played as a winger for Arsenal football club which won the FA Cup in 1948.
