Ben Stokes
The England cricketer Ben Stokes is now one of the greatest all-rounders in the cricket world. After reaching a top height in the international career, Stokes got a massive hit due to his drinking habit.
In September 2017, Stokes, who was with his national teammate Alex Hales, was involved in a street brawl with two men outside a nightclub. Stokes had a hand injury after involving in that brawl. A video was also broken out of that incident. Later, Stokes lost his sponsorship deal with New Balance due to that incident. A trial of that brawl incident ran for almost a year.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) charged Stokes and Hales for bringing down the game into disrepute. While Stokes pleaded guilty to the charges, the ECB suspended him in eight matches along with imposing fine of £30,000.
After completing that suspension, Stokes returned to the game strongly and played important roles for England in the victory of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and rescuing the team from the Ashes 2019 series-defeat.
