Chasing 198, the Royals came up with a good batting effort but eventually fell short by 5 runs. In their next game, they bounced back by thrashing Delhi Capitals by 57 runs.
In the points table, Rajasthan Royals are at the second spot behind Lucknow Super Giants. Chennai Super Kings are at the fifth spot despite having the same number of wins and losses as Royals due to their net run-rate.
