In recent times, the former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria has grabbed the headlines several times due to various revelations owing to his cricket career. At present, the endless tweet war between Kaneria and his former Pakistan teammate Faisal Iqbal has taken an ugly turn.
The former Pakistan leg-spinner Danish Kaneria is still holding the record of most Test wickets (261 wickets) as a Pakistan spinner. Recently, the former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq revealed an incident during the 2006 Multan Test against West Indies, where then Caribbean captain Brian Lara slammed a double-century (216). During that game, Kaneria sledged Lara which went wrong for the Pakistan leg-spinner as Lara punished him with three successive sixes and one four in that incidental over (also hit another four in that over but it was before that sledging).

After Inzamam revealed that incident, Kaneria praised Lara but also reminded that he dismissed him for five times (actually three times in international career). Kaneria also took a dig at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) by claiming that he would have broken many records if the board had supported him.
I have taken @BrianLara’s wicket 5 times in my career. He was a good cricketer. If PCB had supported me, I would have broken many big records. @Inzamam08 https://t.co/RJHb3xR1r7

Later, the former Pakistan cricketer Faisal Iqbal attacked Kaneria by calling it was a dumbass sledge by Kaneria to Lara. He also said that Kaneria got scared after that incident. Iqbal didn’t play that game, but he was the 12th man in the Pakistan side.

I still remember this match as a 12man ?? and was just watching the sixes going in the stands ? in his 200 double hundred… defiantly a dumb ass sledge ? by Kaneria to the king @BrianLara and than later Kaneria himself got scared ?? https://t.co/rUYVxZkqoH

Since then neither Kaneria nor Iqbal is stopping themselves from bashing each other on Twitter. While Kaneria instigated Iqbal by reminding his small international career, Iqbal continuously taunted him by calling the former leg-spinner as dumb.
A dumb ass will remain a dumb aasss forever who can’t understand the meaning of Banter!!!! https://t.co/1FliYai9oH

Faisal Iqbal slammed Danish Kaneria for his involvement in 2009 spot-fixing scandal

Iqbal also called Kaneria liar and crook by reminding his 2009 spot-fixing allegations, which later Kaneria also admitted on his involvement during that spot-fixing scandal.
Once caught earlier PCB Should have done INVESTIGATION of all the matches he had played for Pakistan!! #Liar #Crook https://t.co/1FliYai9oH

Later, Kaneria called Iqbal attention seeker after defending himself by claiming he never sold his country for money. Kaneria also took a dig on Iqbal’s cricket career by indirectly mentioning his relationship with the legendary Pakistan cricketer Javed Miandad (Iqbal is the nephew of Miandad).
In reply, Iqbal again slammed Kaneria by calling him corrupt and a liar. Iqbal also hit back Kaneria by calling him attention seeker who was using religion card.
I am a proud nephew and will ALWAYS remain we bleed green???!! But at least I know what was ALWAYS in your Black corrupt ?heart about me? Don’t need to seek attention from a CONVICTED caught corrupt liar like YOU who should be ashamed to his own family first as a liar ?? https://t.co/9lWvbRCKSQ

Iqbal also explained to the Pakistan cricket fans that it was not an easy factor for him to become the nephew of Javed Miandad.
