Jasmin Waldmann is one of the renowned names amongst celebrities across the world. She had worked with many top athletes even in India to improve their fitness.

One of the most popular names to be associated with her is, none other than, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The 35-year old had worked with Dhoni as a life coach a few years ago.

Speaking about the incident, Jasmin had admitted that she did not know about Dhoni despite her knowledge of sports and cricket in particular.

But she quickly realized about the former Indian skipper Dhoni when she was about to work with him. Jasmin quickly agreed that she did realize the massive fan following Dhoni had in India once she came to the cricket crazy nation.

“I didn’t know [Dhoni] despite having studied sports, health, and cricket in theory. So when they told me I’d be working with him, I was like, ‘oh, alright’. And then they flew me down; people were screaming his name everywhere and then I was like, ‘OH, ALRIGHT’ (laughs),” Jasmin Waldmann said speaking to Hindustan Times.

The 35-year old Jasmin Waldmann is currently in Gurgaon – to promote her first self-help book, titled Change Me.

Dhoni is still one of the fittest players in cricket:

Despite being 36-year old, Dhoni is giving no signs of slowing down. He is still one of the fittest cricketers in the world. The veteran wicketkeeper-batsman had once again shut his critics with a mesmerizing knock against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali.

However, he did suffer from a stiff back during his innings. He scored an unbeaten 79 runs off 44 balls and took his side almost to the victory. The innings proved why he is still one of the best finishers in world cricket.

But Dhoni now faces a race against time – to get fit for Chennai Super Kings’ next game.

The team will next face Rajasthan Royals at their new home venue Pune on Friday (April 20). Another key player Suresh Raina is also looking to get fit in time to play.
