The ongoing rift between Rishabh Pant and Urvashi Rautela is showing absolutely no signs of coming to an end. In the latest turn of events, the Bollywood actress has hit back at the cricket star. Rautela and Pant go a long way back. It all began in 2018 when rumours of Pant dating Rautela started doing the rounds. The media also photographed them together several times.
But the rumours did not last long as the episode ended in an ugly manner. Pant reportedly blocked Rautela on WhatsApp. Later, he publicly announced his relationship with Isha Negi. But recently, Rautela revisited the entire episode during an interview with Bollywood Hungama. The actress revealed how things came to an end between her and Pant due to media although he did not take the cricketer’s name directly and addressed him as RP.
“I was shooting in Varanasi, wahan se I had a show in New Delhi, toh meri wahaan se Delhi ki flight thi. (I had a show in New Delhi so I had to take flight from Varanasi). In New Delhi, I was shooting full day and after about 10 hours of shooting when I went back, I had to get ready and you know that girls take a lot of time to get ready. Mr. RP came, he sat in the lobby and waited for me, and he wanted to meet. Main itni tired thi, main so gayi (I was so tired that I dozed off) and I didn’t realize that I had received so many calls,” Rautela said.
“So, when I woke up, I saw 16-17 missed calls and then I felt so bad. That, someone, was waiting for me and I didn’t go. Out of respect, because a lot of girls don’t care about making someone wait, out of that show of respect, I told him that let’s meet when you’ll come to Mumbai,” she added.
Unsurprisingly, the comments did not go down well with Pant and he did not take too long to respond. He took to Instagram to hit back at Rautela before deleting the post. The star wicketkeeper-batsman took a dig at the actress and wrote: “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them “merapichachorhoBehen #Jhutkibhilimithotihai.”
Urvashi Rautela hits back at Rishabh Pant:
Urvashi Rautela has now further added fuel to the fire by hitting back at Rishabh Pant. On Thursday night, the actress took to her social media pages to take a dig at Pant. Calling the cricketer a ‘cougar hunter’ and asking him not to take advantage of a silent girl, she wrote: “Chotu Bhaiyaa should play bat ball. Main koyi Munni nahi hoon badnaam hone with young kiddo darlings tere liye liye @Rakshabandhan Mubarak ho #RPChtobhaiyaa #Cougarhunter #Donttakeadvantageofsilentgirl.”
