Dwayne Bravo added another glory to the other trinkets on his shelf. Playing for the Maratha Arabians, Dwayne Bravo led his team to the victorious end of the third season of the Abu Dhabi T10 league.

The West Indies all-rounder justified his ‘Champions’ title on 24th November when Maratha Arabians defeated the Deccan Gladiators by 8 wickets. The game was totally ruled by the bowlers of the Champions.

The Gladiators were able to put up a total score of 87 runs losing eight wickets in the ten overs. Meanwhile, Asif Khan was the lead scorer for the team, posting unbeaten 25 runs off of 17 balls in the kit. Once they went down in the beginning, they couldn’t rein in their control till Asif arrived on the crease.

On the other hand, coming second to bat, Bravo-led Maratha Arabians took just 7.2 overs to chase the target. The opener Chadwick Walton remained unbeaten scoring 51 runs for the winners.

However, the victorious glory of the skipper was meant to be celebrated and the Caribbeans are best known for their celebration style, apart from their terror on the field.

Soon after the event concluded, Dwayne Bravo took to his Instagram account to share the happiness. He shared a picture of him and his teammates holding the trophy after the presentation ceremony.

With the picture, Bravo announced that he has changed his name from ‘Master Champion’ to ‘Mr. Champion’.

However, one follower tried to put a question mark on the success of the T20 star. He posted a taunting comment on Bravo’s picture saying that “Mr. Champion” is yet to win a World Cup.

“But MR CHAMPION has not won a WORLD CUP YET ??,” wrote the fan as he took a shot at Bravo’s one-day international records.

Nevertheless, the troller got a fitting response from Bravo whose performance in the limited-overs game could not be questioned.

“I have 2 T20 WC titles smarty how much u have?? just have a lil respect my friend you don’t have to be a Djbravo fan but you should at least have some knowledge before u open your mouth ???”
