ECB Announces 24-Member England Squad For Behind-Closed-Doors ODI Training Group

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the strong 24-member squad for the behind-closed-doors training to prepare for the three-match home ODI series against Ireland.
International cricket has finally returned this week with the Southampton Test between England and West Indies, which started on last Wednesday (8th July). After the ongoing three-match home Test series against West Indies, England will host the three-match ODI series against Ireland. These ODIs will be played at Rose Bowl (Southampton) on 30th July, 1st August and 4th August.
England will start their preparation for the upcoming home ODI series on 16th July at the Rose Bowl (Southampton). On Thursday (9th July), the ECB announced the 24-member squad for the behind-closed-doors training to prepare for the forthcoming home ODI series. Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow etc. have been added in this training squad along with many other limited-overs specialists.
Pat Brown, Chris Jordan and Dawid Malan have been not selected in the 24-member English squad due to the back, right-arm and right calf injuries respectively.
During the behind-closed-doors training, the English players will be involved in two intra-group warm-up matches, which will be played 21st and 24th July. They will also have a separate white-ball management team.
ODI coaching group
England’s assistant coach Paul Collingwood will play the Head Coach role of this ODI side during the upcoming home ODI series. Marcus Trescothick will be the batting coach of this team while Jon Lewis, Claude Henderson and James Foster will take the responsibility of the pace-bowling coach, spin-bowling coach and wicketkeeping coach respectively.
