India’s off-spinner Harbhajan Singh believes England’s opener Keaton Jennings has played his innings for his team for a while. Jennings has failed to impress as he has scored only 163 runs at a mere average of 18.11. In fact, Jennings technique has also come under the scanner as he hardly moves his feet. Thus, the selections doors can close for Jennings for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, Jennings had shown the right promise when he scored a century against India in latter’s own conditions on his debut. Thus, he had shown the fight to do well in the spinning conditions.

Consequently, Keaton Jennings will need to perform consistently in the County season to hold on to his opening position.

On the other hand, Harbhajan Singh is also excited to see Alastair Cook bat for the last time for the England team.

Cook has been instrumental in the success of England over the years as he has consistently scored runs. In fact, Cook has done well in his last Test match as he had scored a fine 71 in the first innings. Furthermore, the veteran southpaw batsman is batting unbeaten on 46 runs in the second innings.

England has put their noses in front again as they are leading by 154 runs and have eight wickets in hand. The hosts have already sealed the series by 3-1 and would like to finish the series on a high.

Harbhajan Singh took to Twitter to share his thoughts. Bhajji post read as, “Cook playing his last inning for @ECB_cricket I think Jennings also played his last inning for England for a while at least @SkyCricket 5th Test #ENGvIND what r ur thoughts, guys ??
