England completed yet another thrilling victory against Pakistan in the 3rd ODI of the ongoing series after managing to chase down a mammoth 359 courtesy an exceptional batting performance from the English top order including the likes of Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow. The latter scored a magical century and was supported well by Moeen Ali as well. It was a sensational effort to say the least.

Meanwhile, earlier in the day, it was an inspired performance from the Men in Green as they posted a commendable 358 on the board in their allotted 50 overs courtesy a sensational 151 of 131 deliveries from the blade of opener Imam-ul-Haq. Despite the loss of a couple of early wickets in the form of Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam, it was Imam and Harris Sohail who ensured Pakistan were still in the game.

After a 68 runs stand, Harris Sohail was dismissed. However, Imam-ul-Haq was t his best and kept finding the gaps to perfection. Asif Ali also played a good knock and shared an impressive stand with Imam. During the closing stages of the innings, it was David Willey, the lft-arm pacer who completed a sensational return catch to send back Shaheen Afridi to the pavilion.

It was a short delivery directed very well by David Willey. The ball hit Shaheen Afridi on the splice of the bat and it went straight up in the air. It fell within the circle and David Willey ran forward to complete a sensational catch. It was one of the best catches of the series and deserves special mention.

Eventually, Pakistan posted a huge score of 358. For the hosts, it was Chris Woakes who finished as the leading wicket-taker bagging 4 wickets for 67 runs. The hosts got off to the perfect start and it was largely possible due to some exceptional and crisp hitting by Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow.
