Like the upper story of Hearne family, it was also same as father and son played for the same nation but the father also played for other nation. Both of them belong from Indian Nawab family; Iftikhar Pataudi had played 3 Tests each for England (1932-34) and India (in 1946). He was a 6-feet tall right-handed batsman.

On the other hand, Iftikhar’s son Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi played for India only in 46 Tests (1961-75). He was a great right-handed batsman who played international cricket with one eye while his other eye got badly damaged.
