The present Indian captain Virat Kohli got his first ODI wicket on 16th September 2011 during the Cardiff ODI against the hosts England, and his first victim was the legendary English batsman Sir Alastair Cook.

Kohli, who already tried his luck with his right-arm medium bowling in some earlier ODIs and managed his first international wicket during the recent Manchester T20I, bowled the set English opener Cook who was batting on 50 runs off 54 balls.

Apart from taking four ODI wickets, Kohli has also taken four wickets in T20I career till the date.
