Sourav Ganguly: dismissed Aravind de Silva (Sri Lanka)

The right-arm medium pacer Sourav Ganguly was very effective as a bowler as he had some good incredible ODI bowling figures. Like his captaincy and batting, Ganguly also tried to give his full in bowling.
After experiencing some wicket-less bowling figures in his early ODI career, Ganguly finally managed to open his ODI wicket column during the final of the Asia Cup 1997 against the hosts Sri Lanka (26th July 1997 at Colombo, RPS). At one crucial stage of the second innings of that game, he caught and bowled the star Sri Lankan cricketer Aravinda de Silva (6) for cheaply. However, the Indian team lost that final against the hosts.
Ganguly took 132 international wickets – 32 Test wickets and 100 ODI wickets.
