In South Africa, India U19 team could not defend the title of the ICC U19 World Cup as they were beaten by the Bangladesh U19 team in the grand finale of the tournament. All in all, it was a low-scoring thrilling held at Sewens Park in Potchefstroom.
Bangladesh opted to field first while pushing India to set the target. They showed master class with the bowl, creating pressure from the very first over. The Tigers were successful in restricting India to set the below-par target of 177 runs.

Well, the rain-interrupted at the very late moment but it could not halt Bangladesh to chase the target. With the victory, Bangladesh created history as they lifted their first-ever ICC U19 World Cup title.
