Former Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan was a magician with the ball. In his long international career between 1992 and 2011, Muralitharan took 1,347 international wickets including 800 Test wickets 534 ODI wickets and 13 T20I wickets. He is still the most wicket-taker in international cricket as well as in Test and ODI formats too.

Muralitharan played his last Test against India at Galle in July 2010. The off-spinner ended India’s second innings of that match with the wicket of Pragyan Ojha. With that wicket, Muralitharan became the first bowler to claim 800 Test wickets.
