Adam Gilchrist
Surely it is a surprise name in this list as the wicketkeeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist took the only wicket in his professional cricket career and that too on the last ball of his professional career.
It was the IPL 2013 match between Gilchrist-leading side Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Dharamsala (18th May 2013). Coming to bowl in the final over of that match where the MI was 51 runs away from the target, Gilchrist dismissed Harbhajan Singh on the very first ball of that over. As Dhawal Kulkarni was injured, that innings was ended with Harbhajan’s wicket.
