Shoaib Akhtar:
Shoaib Akhtar is famously known for troubling batsmen in the field. His bowling attack had led Pakistan won the crucial matches. He is still one of the most successful Pakistani bowlers.
His conflict with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) started in 2007 when he used foul language for the board. He was involved in a fight with Pakistani teammate Mohammad Asif and Shahid Afridi. It has also led his ban from the game for violating the players’ code of conduct.
However, soon his ban was cut short and he returned in international cricket but he didn’t get regular chances in the playing XI.
In 2012, Akhtar accused the PCB, stating that there was too much ‘politics’ in the board and some of its officials did not want the Pakistani team to win.
Thus, his rift with the board led his downfall in the game.
