Bengal cricketer Manoj Tiwary made his debut for India on 3rd February 2008 during the Brisbane ODI against Australia. The right-handed batsman is one of the greatest batsmen in Bengal cricket history, but he has failed to stretch his international career.

Tiwary has played 12 ODIs and three T20Is where he has scored 287 runs (average 26.09) and 15 runs (average 15.00) respectively. He didn’t get opportunity much consistently for the national team who last served for India in 2015 during Harare ODI against Zimbabwe.

However, Tiwary has always become a dependable batsman for Bengal. In the 2019/20 Ranji Trophy, Tiwary hit a triple-century during the Group Stage game against Hyderabad.

In IPL career, Tiwary has played 98 games where the right-handed batsman has scored 1,695 runs with an average of 28.72. While he had a couple of good IPL seasons, he hit the winning runs during Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) victory in the IPL 2012 trophy. Last time, he played an IPL match in 2018 edition.
