Pragyan Ojha

The left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha made his debut for India on 28th June 2008 during the Karachi ODI against Bangladesh. Once he was the regular Test player for India.
Ojha represented the Indian team in 24 Tests, 18 ODIs and six T20Is where the left-arm orthodox took 113, 21 and 10 wickets respectively. Last time, he served for India in November 2013 during the Mumbai Test against West Indies.
His career saw a massive downfall after his bowling was found to be illegal in December 2014. Though in the next month, his bowling was allowed for the competitive match after clearing the test, Ojha failed to carry on the impressive performance regularly. While he started his professional domestic cricket career for Hyderabad, where he served for a long time (2004/05-2015/16), he also played for Bengal (2015/16-2016/17) and Bihar (2018/19) in his late-career.
In IPL career, Ojha played 92 games where he picked up 89 wickets. He was one of the top bowling performers in the IPL 2009 (18 wickets) and 2010 editions (21 wickets), including winning the Purple Cap in IPL 2010. However, after the IPL 2015, he never appeared in this tournament.
In this February, Ojha retired from all forms of cricket. After that retirement, he represented for India Legends in the Road Safety World Series 2020.
