Mithun Manhas:

Mithun Manhas is an Indian first-class cricketer. The backbone of Delhi in the first-class cricket has also represented erstwhile state Jammu and Kashmir in the past. He debuted in the year 1997-98 and soon became one of the most prominent batsmen with the ability to bowl few overs for the team.
Manhas led Delhi for most of his career when players like Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir were scoring for the national side. In the 2007-08 Ranji campaign, Manhas ruled the roost by amassing 921 runs in that first-class season at an average of 57.56.
Delhi won the season after a prolonged gap of 16 years, however, Gambhir led the team in the semi-final and final.
Manhas also featured in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he played for the three different franchises- Delhi Daredevils, Pune Warriors India and Chennai Super Kings. Nonetheless, the soon-to-be 40-year-old domestic stalwart couldn’t grab the eyeballs of the Indian selectors.
