Not only the Indian cricket fans (including the national teammates), but the world cricket are also eagerly waiting for the IPL 2020 to see how MS Dhoni performs in this tournament.
Since the heartbreaking semi-final defeat in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Dhoni hasn’t played a recognised professional cricket match yet. Though there is no confirmation about his international cricket future, Dhoni’s career has entered into the ending chapter.
The Indian Head Coach Ravi Shastri recently hinted that Dhoni might return to the national team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 if he performs well in the IPL 2020. But the cancellation of IPL 2020 will massively hit on this plan.
Though some believe that Dhoni’s return is not depended on the IPL 2020 as his experience is still a big asset for the present Indian team, it is likely not a reality in the present situation.
