Former South African captain Graeme Smith was one of the crucial members to play the vital role for Rajasthan Royals’ victory in IPL 2008.
The left-handed batsman was the fifth most run-scorer in overall and second-most runs-scorer for his team in that successful IPL campaign. He scored 441 runs in 11 matches with an average of 49.00 (strike-rate 121.82), including three half-centuries. But Smith’s other IPL seasons were not so successful while he continued for Royals till 2010 and represented Pune Warriors India in 2011.
