The intense rivalry between former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir and former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi doesn’t seem to end anytime soon. Both the stalwarts had a go at each other on the cricketing field during their playing days when India locked horns with Pakistan.
Though both of them retired from the game a long time ago, the two former cricketers have been exchanging blows on social media platforms even now and have also taken the rivalry to the next level. There have been several instances where both players mocked at each other.

Recently, Shahid Afridi mocked Gautam Gambhir for his attitude, adding that he has no personality. In Shahid Afridi’s autobiography, Afridi had pointed at Gambhir for his nationalistic tweets where he claimed that Gautam Gambhir doesn’t hold many significant records.
“(Gautam Gambhir) and his attitude problem. He, who has no personality. He, who is barely a character in the great scheme of cricket. He has no great records, just a lot of attitude. He behaves like he’s a cross between Don Bradman and James Bond,” Shahid Afridi penned down in his autobiography.

Gautam Gambhir is well aware of what Shahid Afridi mentioned about him in his autobiography. Gambhir gave a mouth-shutting reply to Shahid Afridi on Twitter.
Check out the tweet below:
“Someone who doesn’t remember his age how will he remember my records! OK @SAfridiOfficial let me remind u one: 2007 T20 WC final, Ind Vs Pak Gambhir 75 off 54 balls Vs Afridi 0 off 1 ball. Most imp: We won the Cup. And yes, I’ve attitude towards liars, traitors & opportunists,” Gambhir tweeted.

While taking a trip down the memory lane, the drama started when Shahid Afridi and Gautam Gambhir exchanged words in one of the ODI games in Guwahati, during Pakistan’s tour of India in the year 2007.
During the match, the players hurled abuses at each other after they had collided while Gautam Gambhir was taking a run off Shahid Afridi.
