Photos of the couple emerged on social media first in 2017. Notably, the Australian was spotted with his partner Vini Raman at the Australian Cricket Awards in 2019. Vini Raman is a pharmacist based in Melbourne. She belongs to a Tamil family residing in an Australian city.

Glenn Maxwell was part of the Australian side that whitewashed Sri Lanka 5-0 in the T20I series held in Australia earlier this year. He was in sublime form as he emerged as the third-highest run-getter in the series with 138 runs and also scalped one wicket in the tournament.

Glenn Maxwell To Play For RCB In IPL 2022

One of the most sought-after T20 cricketers, Glenn Maxwell, had a torrid season with Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in IPL 2020. He scored just 108 runs at a pathetic average of 15, striking at 102, and was subsequently released. Despite his indifferent form, RCB emptied INR 14.25 crore from their purse to fetch his service in IPL 2021.

Promoted to no. 4 in the batting order, Glenn Maxwell was RCB’s highest run-getter in IPL 2021, with 513 runs at an average of 42.75, striking at 144.1 in 15 games. The Victorian also had three wickets to his name in IPL 2021. The likes of Aaron Finch, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Marcus Stoinis will not feature in the first week of the IPL 2022 due to international commitments- Australia’s limited-overs matches against Pakistan.

RCB will look to end their IPL title drought under new captain Faf du Plessis. Virat Kohli had last year announced that he would not be leading the franchise from the 2022 season. The Australian all-rounder had also pulled out of Australia’s ongoing tour of Pakistan because of his marriage with his fiancée. The Aussies are slated to play three ODIs and a T20I game against the Babar Azam-led side.

Glenn Maxwell, who was retained by RCB before IPL 2022, will draw a salary of INR 11 crores. Talking about his IPL career, the right-handed batter has featured in 97 matches in the T20 league and has scored over 2000 runs at a menacing strike rate of 151.84.
