ToggleVini Raman, a Melbourne-based Indian pharmacist who is also Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell’s fiance gave a fitting reply to a troll on social media asking her to leave Glenn Maxwell and calling him mentally unstable. The Australian had announced a sabbatical last year, opening up about his struggles with depression and got back only this year after the lockdown to participate in Australia’s tour of England.
He is currently in UAE playing for the Kings XI Punjab side, where he returned this year for a second stint. Maxwell had announced his engagement to Vini Raman in February this year.

Vini Raman lashes out a troll on Instagram
Glenn Maxwell’s fiance had uploaded a picture on her Instagram handle with him, which received a nasty comment from a guy, asking her to leave Maxwell and look for an Indian guy. The troll also called Maxwell ‘mentally challenged’. An infuriated Vini replied to the troll and also put up a story of the screenshot explaining herself, which was reshared by Glenn Maxwell.
“So, I normally don’t respond to comments like these as I know trolls do it just to get attention. But a 6 month lockdown has left me with plenty of time to educate ignorant morons. Loving someone of a different skin colour doesn’t make you a sell out. Loving a white person doesn’t mean I’m embarrassed to be an Indian. Loving a white person is my choice and I shouldn’t have to worry about what others will think” Vini Raman wrote on her story on Instagram.
