Shahid Afridi

Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi was one of the greatest all-rounders in Pakistan’s cricket history. Starting his international career as a leg-spinner, Afridi impressed with his big-hitting abilities in his early international career.
Afridi was an important member of his national side to win the ICC World T20 2009, where the all-rounder received the Player of the Match award during the final match of that tournament.
During his long international career between 1996 and 2018, Afridi played 27 Tests, 398 ODIs and 99 T20Is. In his late international career, Afridi announced retirement from international cricket for multiple times, and later, he overturned those decisions by returning to the international cricket. He finally retired from international cricket in 2018. However, he is still active in T20 cricket.
