Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh fought with some fans on the social media site twitter on the topic of Ghulam Ali’s concert in the Eden Gardens.
Earlier the news was, the king of ghazal – Ghulam Ali’s concert would be held at the Park Circus Maidan in Kolkata. But due to the security reason, police did not give permission to organise that concert in that place.
After that the organizers contacted with the CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal) for getting a permission to organise that concert in the Eden Gardens. But CAB Chief Sourav Ganguly said that the concert is not possible in the Eden Gardens due to the upcoming 2016 ICC World T20. ICC will come for an inspection on 15th January at the ground ahead of the T20 WC.
Times of India (TOI) tweeted about the news on Thursday morning, “Cricket Association of Bengal unwilling to allow Ghulam Ali concert at Eden Gardens.”
