MS Dhoni is known for his unorthodox style in cricket. It does not matter whether he is batting, wicketkeeping or leading the team, there will always be something unusual about his style that makes him stand apart.
And it looks like his unorthodox nature is not only limited to the cricket field. His former India and IPL teammate Robin Uthappa has revealed his unique and weird eating behaviour. The former cricketer has revealed that MS Dhoni was quite weird when it came to food.
Lifting the lid on MS Dhoni’s eating habits, Uthappa revealed that they had a group that consisted of the likes of Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, RP Singh, Piyush Chawla, Munaf Patel alongside him and the former India skipper. Uthappa said that while the group used to order a range of dishes, MS Dhoni did not.

Robin Uthappa on MS Dhoni’s eating behaviour:
The legendary captain had a rigid eating habit and would hardly order a lot of dishes. MS Dhoni would only order butter chicken. Uthappa further revealed that his ex-teammate would eat butter chicken without the chicken at times and just the gravy.
“We used to always eat together. We had a group: Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, RP Singh, Piyush Chawla, Munaf (Patel), MS and me. We would order dal makhni, butter chicken, jeera aloo, gobi and rotis. But MS is a very rigid person when it comes to eating. He would eat butter chicken but without the chicken, only with the gravy! When he ate chicken, he wouldn’t eat the rotis. He is quite weird when it comes to eating,” Uthappa was quoted as saying by India Today.

MS Dhoni is currently gearing up to lead Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. IPL 2023 is scheduled to get underway on March 31. CSK will be in action on the very first day of the tournament when they take on defending champions Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
