The second warm-up match between India and Bangladesh gave a number of answers to team India’s problems as MS Dhoni and KL Rahul scored heap of runs. Both the batsmen scored centuries to warm-up well ahead of the tournament. While both the batsmen stole the limelight with their show, one of the acts from MS Dhoni became the highlight of the match.
The former Indian skipper was batting against Sabbir Rahman when he noticed some irregularities in Bangladesh’s fielding. Apparently, one of the Bangladesh fielders wasn’t standing on his designated position and Dhoni pointed it out. It was a hilarious moment on the field as an opposing batsman asked the fielder to stand at his designated position.
Bowler Sabbir Rahman was also left surprised and asked for the fielder to make amends. The moment also left commentators in surprise and they opined that Dhoni was a bit confused about the fielder. Here is the video for the incident –

India, who were asked to bat first in the match, registered an easy victory over Bangladesh to come back stronger after a defeat in the first warm-up match. The team did not have a good start as Shikhar Dhawan could just manage one run.

Rohit Sharma did spend some time out in the middle but was dismissed on 19 off 42. Virat Kohli was moving ahead strongly but he too could not convert his score into a big one and was dismissed on 47.
Dhoni and KL Rahul stole the show with their respective centuries. Rahul scored 108 off 99. With this innings, he also booked his place for the number 4 spot. It is almost confirmed that Rahul will be batting at number four during World Cup.
Dhoni, on the other hand, came up with yet another brilliant performance in 2019. He scored 113 off 78 and reached the three-figure mark with a six.

Marred by minor injuries, Bangladesh could never really compete against Indian bowlers. Liton Das (73) and Mushfiqur Rahim (90) did come up with big sores but Bangladesh were dismissed on 264, losing the game by a margin of 95 runs, Tamim Iqbal was rested for this match.
Moving ahead, India will now face South Africa in their first league stage game on June 5. On the other hand, Bangladesh will now face South Africa in their first match on 2nd June.
