ICC has released the latest ODI bowler rankings and this has surely brought good news for Indian fans, with 2 Indian bowlers right up there. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who made his debut in December 2012, and is having a good run at the International level, has finally managed to get into the Top 10, with him being on the 7th spot. Other Indian bowler in the Top 10 is Ravindra Jadeja, who is placed at 6th position.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has so far 44 wickets in 42 matches at an economy of 4.6 runs per over and is only going to get better. Also, Mohd. Shami has broken into Top 20 for the first time in his career, emerging as the leading wicket taker in the recently concluded series against West Indies. Ravichandran Ashwin as rested for the series against West Indies and this has seen him drop 2 places to 18.
The notable thing was that both the spinners , Saeed Ajmal and Sunil Narine ,who have been reported for suspect actions are placed at the Top 2 , with Ajmal still at the top position. Sunil Narine , though is only banned from tournaments run by BCCI.
Dale Steyn is placed at 3rd place , followed by James Anderson at 4th position.
