4. Kane Williamson (New Zealand) – 578 runs

In the 2019 CWC, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson played the most important role for his team in batting. His consistent batting was one of the major reasons for New Zealand to achieve high success in this tournament. Williamson scored 578 runs in nine innings with an average of 82.57 and strike-rate of 74.96. It is also the most runs for a captain in a single CWC edition. Williamson hit two back-to-back centuries and two more half-centuries in this tournament. Due to his outstanding batting performances and brilliant captaincy, Williamson finally won the Player of the Tournament award.
