Former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum was a stylish and aggressive cricketer. With time progresses, his aggressiveness became mature and more impactful. McCullum featured in four Cricket World Cups (2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015). Under his captaincy, New Zealand reached their first CWC final in 2015 edition, but they finished that tournament as the runners-up.

In his 27 CWC innings, McCullum scored 742 runs with an average of 33.72 (one century and six half-centuries). His CWC strike-rate was 120.84. Currently, he is the top two record-holder of the fastest World Cup half-centuries.
