1. Umesh Yadav (India)

Indian pacer Umesh Yadav was India’s most wicket-taking bowler in the previous Cricket World Cup. He finished as the third most wicket-taking bowler in that tournament as he took 18 wickets in eight matches with an average of 17.83 and economy rate of 4.98. The right-arm pacer claimed two four-wicket hauls in that tournament. His bowling helped the defending champions India to reach the semi-finals of that tournament.
Since that CWC, Umesh played 27 ODIs where he picked up 39 wickets. However, at present, there is a very tough competition in the Indian pace bowling line-up, and Umesh has failed to maintain his consistent bowling performances in the present time. The right-arm pacer played his last ODI in October 2018.
