Indian wicketkeeper-batsman and former captain MS Dhoni is the most experienced active player (according to the no.of ODI matches) in the present ODI cricket. There is no doubt that he is one of the greatest wicketkeeper-batsman ever in cricket history. Under his captaincy, India won the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup.

The versatile cricketer Dhoni has played 341 ODIs where he has scored 10,500 runs with an average of 50.72. He is one of the greatest finishers who has hit 10 centuries and 71 half-centuries in ODI career. His best knock is unbeaten 183 runs which is the highest individual ODI score by a wicketkeeper-batsman.

On the other hand, Dhoni has taken 314 catches and also made 120 stumpings in ODI career. Dhoni is famous for his fast wicket-keeping skills.

The upcoming Cricket World Cup will be MS Dhoni’s fourth Cricket World Cup. Earlier, he played in 2007, 2011 and 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.
