8. Rahul Dravid (India) – 61.42

Former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid was famously known as “The Wall” for his solid defensive batting. His patience batting was a headache for the opposition bowlers. Dravid featured in three Cricket World Cups – 1999, 2003 and 2007. Out of those editions, Dravid led his national side in 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup, but India massively failed in that tournament. In his CWC career, Dravid scored 860 runs in 21 innings with an average of 61.42. The right-handed batsman hit two centuries and six half-centuries in his CWC career.
In 1999 edition, Dravid finished as the leading run-scorer of the tournament after scoring 461 runs in eight innings with an average of 65.85.
