6. Sir Viv Richards (West Indies) – 63.31

The legendary Caribbean batsman Sir Viv Richards was one of greatest batsmen in international cricket history. Richards was famously known for his powerful batting. The right-handed batsman represented West Indies in 1975, 1979, 1983 and 1987 Cricket World Cups. Moreover, he led the Caribbean side in the 1987 CWC while West Indies won the CWC trophies in 1975 and 1979 editions.
Richards scored 1,013 CWC runs in 21 innings with an average of 63.31. He hit three centuries and five half-centuries in Cricket World Cup career.
