ICC Cricket World Cup 2003: 266 sixes

For the first time any African country organised the Cricket World Cup as South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya jointly hosted the ICC Cricket World Cup 2003. While 14 teams played in that tournament, Australia won their second consecutive CWC trophy and this time they won it as the unbeaten side. At the end of that tournament, we observed a total of 266 sixes (per match sixes = 5.11).
