One of the most stylish batsmen in world cricket, Yuvraj Singh revealed some important details about former India skipper MS Dhoni and spoke on how he went onto become one of the most successful captains in world cricket. Yuvraj Singh stated that Dhoni has worked very hard for his success and it is quite evident from his rise in international cricket. He has been one of the greatest servants of India in world cricket. Despite being in the twilight of his career, MS Dhoni looks in fine touch both with bat and behind the stumps. He was quite impressive with the bat in hand for Chennai Super Kings and scored 416 runs in 12 matches.

”When you have played international cricket for so many years, there will be times when you are not batting well. The best thing is that his mind is very sharp and he knows when to take singles or when to go for big shots,” Yuvraj Singh said while talking to Hindustan Times.

Meanwhile, he further revealed that MS Dhoni has been one of the most hardworking cricketers ever. The southpaw who won the Man of the Tournament Award in the 2011 World Cup stated that MS Dhoni worked very hard during the 2011 World Cup as well. Dhoni wasn’t in the best of touches during the 2011 World Cup. However, he played a captain’s knock against Sri Lanka in the final to help India win their 2nd World Cup title.

“He’s always been very hard working. I remember in the 2011 World Cup, in seven days we had two off-days. MS would bat all those seven days and we would, at times, feel he was batting a bit too much. He has been very hard-working and that’s why he has been around for so long,” Yuvraj added.
