After waiting for a long time, the 12th edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup is back here as hosts England takes on South Africa in the opening clash of the tournament today. All the top 10 teams have exceptional players in their ranks and have the ability to win the coveted title for their nation.
However, there are certain teams who will start as the favourites and hosts England and India will be the two teams who have a great chance of winning the title this time around.
Ahead of the start of the showpiece event, all the captains of the 10 participating teams made a stop to meet Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry at the Buckingham Palace. The queen hosted her annual garden party where she was seen wearing a beautiful attire and greeted the players.
Pretty soon photographs of the even started doing rounds in the social media circles. One of the pictures which took the attention of the fans were Virat Kohli met Queen Elizabeth.
Meanwhile, Team India will be one of the favourites for the showpiece event. They have a very strong team and have all their bases covered. Their batting line-up is arguably the best in the world who has the ability to dismantle any bowling attack on their day.
The bowling line-up is solid as well with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah leading from the front. The wrist spinning duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal will also be very important for Men in Blue.
