However, Sehwag controlled the innings and secured the safe victory. Sehwag and Mohammad Kaif put the 43 runs partnership for the second wicket. While Kaif (14) and Manpreet Gony (0) were dismissed by Carl Hooper in back-to-back deliveries, Yuvraj Singh comfortably finished the game with Sehwag.

Sehwag ended the match with a four as the right-handed batsman remained not out on 74 runs off 57 balls (11 fours). Meanwhile, Yuvraj scored 10 not out off seven balls.

West Indies Legends: Shivnarine Chanderpaul continued his class

Openers Daren Ganga and Shivnarine Chanderpaul set the 40 runs partnership. But after Ganga lost his wicket on 32 runs off 24 balls, the Caribbean side was losing their next wickets at regular intervals. Captain Brian Lara scored 17 runs off 15 balls. However, Chanderpaul continued his batting and scored a fighting half-century which set up the challenging first innings total.

Apart from the openers, all other West Indies Legends batsmen failed to reach the 20-run marks. Chanderpaul lost his wicket in the 19th over after scoring 61 runs off 41 balls (6 fours and 2 sixes). In the late of that innings, Tino Best scored 11 runs off just five balls.

Among India Legends bowlers, Munaf Patel (2/24), Pragyan Ojha (2/27) and Zaheer Khan (2/30) bagged two wickets each while Irfan Pathan (1/21) got one wicket.
