Virat Kohli’s poor performance:
When your batting mainstay could not score runs, it somewhere affects the team’s performance. The same thing happened in the Test series against New Zealand, Indian skipper Virat Kohli was exposed against formidable Kiwi’s bowling line up.
On all occasions, he gave wickets to different Kiwi bowlers.
We have witnessed him as an aggressive player but he was just opposite to his nature, low on confidence and well under pressure. In the Test series, he returned with the numbers of 2, 19, 3, 14.
Thus, his poor performance reflected that India had faced difficulty to win a match whenever a major player like Kohli fails to give his best.
