Part of World Cup-winning team in 2011India v New Zealand 2017: Five best moments of Ashish Nehra's career 1

The 2011 World Cup was the last time Nehra played ODI cricket for India. It was a dream come true for Nehra and the whole of India. He bowled reasonably well in the tournament with some good and bad days. He conceded 16 runs in the final over in the group encounter against South Africa which handed India their first and only defeat in the tournament.

During the Semi-final Nehra bowled brilliantly and bagged a couple of crucial wickets to help win the clash against their arch-rivals Pakistan. He couldn’t be part of the final as he had a broken hand, but his contribution in bits and parts were crucial behind India’s triumphant World Cup campaign after 28 years.
